The Yoko-Lagann is an incredibly powerful sniper rifle, requiring a steady stance in order to fire. It uses a special custom ammo, 12.7mm YL Anti Material, an ammo type that explodes and deals extra damage to stationary enemies, but with less range. This ammo type is not shared with other weapons using 12.7mm.

In Arena, it can be purchased for Sniper as a Series 5 weapon.

Given the weapon's reliance on standing still in order to fire, the Tac Grip Upgrade Attachment (reduced recoil whilst stationary) is very useful; the reduced recoil means faster recovery and less time between (accurate) shots.
